CSL Behring / CSL Seqirus

CSL Behring/Seqirus requires regular calibration of its biotechnology analytical instruments and equipment to ensure accurate measurements and reliable data for its precision manufacturing and quality control.

This involves maintaining the integrity of electronic and instrumentation systems, including both in-situ and workshop calibration of process instruments.

Gordon McKay provides CSL with skilled and qualified Instrument technicians who provide back fill support for inhouse personnel and act as stand-alone resources for new builds. Their work spans commissioning and verification of all instrumentation through to ongoing maintenance, prior to handover to CSL’s maintenance team.

The key aspects of Gordon McKay’s work scope include:

• Electrical and instrumentation technicians who are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of a wide range of equipment, including analytical instruments and other equipment used in their operations.
• Responsible for calibration of process instruments, both in-situ and in the workshop.
• Completing calibration reports detailing the instrument’s state before and after calibration and may include recommendations for improving performance.
• Ensuring calibration activities are conducted within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
