Athena gas plant project

The Athena Gas Plant, formerly the Minerva Gas Plant located in the Otway Basin, commenced operations in December 2021, processing gas and liquids from the offshore Casino, Henry, and Netherby fields.

The Athena Gas Plant received a significant upgrade in 2021.

Gordon McKay was engaged to supply, install, calibrate and commission all the electrical and instrumentation services for the Gas Plant’s refurbishment. As a result of this successful installation project, Gordon McKay now supplies electrical and instrument tradespersons for ongoing maintenance and hazardous area inspection activities.
